What it does well
- Licensing approach suited to commercial use
- Generative fill inside Photoshop
- Consistency with brand templates
How I use it
- Background/scene replacement on product images
- Extending ad visuals to different sizes
- Quick creative fixes
Limits
It trails Midjourney on creative range: the output is safe and clean, but a genuinely striking image takes more work. You get its full value alongside Photoshop and Express; judged as a standalone generator it looks thinner than it is. Credits run down fast during heavy iteration.
When I switch to another tool
For concept work and images that need to stand out, Midjourney. For quick pieces going straight into social formats, Canva Magic Studio. For video, Runway.
