1. Data Controller

This notice is provided by Hasan Aras ("Site Owner"), acting as data controller under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK"), to inform visitors of hasanaras.com ("Site") about the processing of their personal data. Contact: info@hasanaras.com

2. Personal Data Processed

Only data you actively submit to us is processed:

• Contact form: full name, e-mail address, company name (optional), message content.
• Direct contact: contact details and message content you share via e-mail, phone or WhatsApp.
• Content download form: your e-mail address when you choose to receive free resources on the site (e.g. the checklist PDF) by e-mail.
• Technical logs: the hosting server may keep standard access logs (IP address, date-time, requested page, browser information) for security and debugging purposes.

Your theme and language preferences are stored only in your own device's local storage (localStorage); this information is never transmitted to us.

3. Purposes of Processing

• Receiving, evaluating and responding to your contact requests,
• Conducting job-opportunity, interview and consulting conversations,
• Publishing questions you submit to the Q&A section — only with your explicit consent,
• Delivering the free resources you request (download link) to your e-mail address,
• Keeping the Site secure and resolving technical issues,
• Complying with legal obligations.

4. Legal Grounds

Your personal data is processed under Article 5 of the KVKK on the grounds of: (a) the data having been made public by you, (b) processing being directly related to the establishment or performance of a contract, (c) the legitimate interest of the data controller, and (d) your explicit consent where required.

5. Transfers

Your personal data is never shared with third parties for marketing purposes. Data may be shared only (a) with the hosting and e-mail infrastructure providers of the Site to the extent technically necessary, and (b) with competent public authorities upon lawful request.

6. Retention

Contact records are deleted within a reasonable period after the purpose of the communication ends; technical access logs are deleted or anonymised at the end of the maximum periods set by applicable law.

7. Your Rights under Article 11 of the KVKK

You have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed, to request information if it has been, to learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used accordingly, to know the third parties to whom it has been transferred, to request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data, to request deletion or destruction, to request notification of these operations to third parties, to object to a result arising against you through analysis exclusively by automated systems, and to claim compensation for damages.
